The stock icons already do that. Not to mention the character portraits in the "Minus art" builds.

Brawl Minus 4.0bc Bug Report Thread

Actually, all windboxes make Ivysaur fall. This isn't so much a problem in most cases (Fludd pulls Ivysaur back to the stage, Ike and Falco's fsmashes are short range), but Squirtle's Water Gun can safely and easily gimp Ivysaur.

Brawl Minus's Hitstun Explanation (Part 2)

Note that Headbutt, Transform, Wolf Flash, and "Fire Fart" can instantly be canceled into an airdodge, meaning DK, Zelda, Sheik, Wolf, and Roy can airdodge directly out of hitstun. It takes one extra frame to input an airdodge this way, meaning four frames of vulnerability. Then there are moves...

Charizard's Fly only sweetspots early on in the move. After about halfway through, it becomes impossible to sweetspot. (Fun fact: it used to sweetspot towards the end but not at the start.)

I like this one. Minus includes references to previous games, and that hitbox was amazing enough to be worth referencing.

    Target Test Speedrun Times

Actually I'm almost one full second ahead.

    Target Test Speedrun Times

Samus on stage 1: 8.90 I couldn't reliably shoot through the gaps in the wall, so I did something easier. If you can make the shot, it shouldn't be hard to beat my score.

    Target Test Speedrun Times

For the record, the fastest way to unlock the other stages is by playing Classic mode on Intense. Just beat the first four levels, then quit as soon as Break the Targets starts.

Wolf says the full quote during his entrance animation. And yes, they could easily fix this by editing the sound file, but then Wolf couldn't say the full quote under any circumstances. It would be nice if he included "Star Fox" when facing Fox or Falco, but my guess is that that's too hard to...

    Target Test Speedrun Times

    Using only Ganondorf's up tilt, I got the following times: Stage 1: 1.56 Stage 2: 8.03 Stage 3: 7.06 Stage 4: 8.75 Stage 5: 7.35

So Doq just posted a copy of Minus 2.X.6, and it reminded me how much more fun Ike was back then. And the reason he was so fun was because he had so much more mobility.

Brawl Minus 2.x.6 Netplay Edition - Current release: II

It's fascinating to go back and see what's changed and what hasn't. In no particular order... When playing Squirtle, Ivysaur, or Charizard, you could choose whether pressing down-B switched Pokemon or did nothing. Zelda/Sheik couldn't cancel Transform.

First I played a match with only one player (this is allowed in time matches). While watching the replay, I pressed R to make the camera follow ZSS, and then used X and Y to get a good zoom level. To improve video quality, I slowed the emulation to 50% speed, and then recorded using OBS classic...

It also happens if the tether collides with the stage. My suggestion: if this happens, give the character a small vertical boost. That way they have time to move sideways and try again.

I approve of decreased shieldstun, especially on a perfect shield. They already said no more wavedashes or pseudo-wavedashes. They already confirmed that Yoshi will be able to jump out of shield. I approve of fixing Toon Link's jab. I approve of nerfing Mewtwo's uair. They already confirmed...

In the air - which is where this move is meant to be used - the sourspot deals 11% and the sweetspot deals 12%. On the ground, the sourspot deals 7-10% depending on which part of the vine hits. The sweetspot still deals 12%. Actually, this is enough to make a difference. Vine Whip is one of...

I guess I should mention that I used to play Zelda+Sheik, and I never accidentally transformed. I only rarely switched mid-match, but I appreciated having the option. And I definitely made use of Transform cancels. I mainly used it to airdodge out of hitstun, but it's occasionally good for...

You can cancel Transform into any A-button attack. If your opponent is walking up to try and punish your shield, just hit them instead of shielding.
