I'm still hunting for a third piece of passive heal equipment (and a single piece of smooth landing - no luck yet : [ ) so that I can put 3 pieces of passive heal on a Jigglypuff. Then whenever someone says custom equips should be legal, I'll ask them to fight me with equips. Gimp them once, then run like hell and time them out.

Did I mention I think equipment should be banned in tournaments [or that there should be separate events for equipment and no equipment]?

I agree about the tourney ban on equips. I have have the worst luck with equipment and customs. I always get either repeats on equipment or plain get repeats on custom moves. And I keep not getting anything with abilities, I have like 3 abilities and a lot are repeated on my equips. Particularly extended smashes :/

Also my circle pad has now joined the league of busted pads :(

What do people even do to break them???

I do a fair number of smash attacks [AI stupidity and MK f/dsmash are awesome anyway] but I think mine is just fine... you trying to dash dance or smash attack too hard or what???

Seriously though, please don't tell me you guys are actually wanting to dash dance on the 3ds....

My stick was having problems after extended or even minor play sessions but it went away I have no issues anymore, except I will rarely do a tilt instead of a smash attack.

No I just played normally :( Unless playing a ton of Smash Run to farm customs is bad, but I wasn't doing anything too outrageous with my pad :( I legit did nothing that would put a lot of strain on the pad :s

Apparently, it breaks off because people are pressing down on it too hard. You have to just slide it like a slider, since it is a slider, without pressing down on it.

I'm not sure I'm doing it right either but seeing as how my problems went away, I must be doing something right.

Does it still work?

Can't stop The Dorf Train.
Equips should be banned. Custom specials shouldn't. Anything healthy to help a character's viability in the meta should be welcomed so we can get out of this stagnant mess of Fox/Marth/Sheik.

Yeah basically. The problem is they're such a colossal pain to get that people started saying they should be legal but now they're taking it back because they don't wanna put in the work for it. Which I can understand, I spent all my time playing Smash Run to grind custom moves and I can tell you I barely have any after beating it several times with everyone. Also my circle pad still works.

That is really just luck windego. Also, I feel like smash run isn't as good as classic for getting those things.

At this point it's looking like Sheik/Rosalina/ZSS, I haven't seen anything suggesting Fox and Marth are top... or are you just referencing how people pretty much only play Melee?

Also I hope your circle pad gets fixed Greatest_Aether.

I have all the custom specials for only Link, Captain Falcon, [I think MK, or else I lack one for him], and Mii Fighters (duh). Though I'm missing only one with Falco, and I think I'm reasonably close with Lucario. The rest I am still missing a fair number (but haven't tried to dedicatedly farm classic on like level 7 or 8 or something to get them, so my own fault).

1. It still works 100%, only the white pad itself is gone, which ieaves a black stub thing.
2. I've got every custom special for Ike and Mega Man, and I am missing 2 for Little Mac.

That's not where I got it from...
I lost it due to my unforuntate salt from Lunatic Mode on Fire Emblem Awakening. Wierd place to lose it, I know...
