Gecko not launching from stage builder

Smash Stack just forces execution of a .elf file, you can run literally any homebrew through smash stack.

    Brawl Minus 4.0b is here!

The codes folder should not affect smash stack execution and the stage name is correct. Try deleting all of the custom stages on your Wii (I'm assuming you're on an NTSC-U console, if you aren't that's your problem), restarting your Wii, then remove the SD card, load up ssbb, insert the SD...

    Brawl Minus 4.0b is here!

Okay, that's the problem, it seems like at least one version of 4.0b that was uploaded is missing smash stack for some reason. You'll need to grab the smash stack file (grab it from a previous hackless build or there are a bunch of other versions), make a folder called st in the rsbe folder and...

    Brawl Minus 4.0b is here!

Okay, when you go to stage builder what shows up. Also, please check to make sure that your SD write protect switch isn't accidentally set (try writing a test file to it) and if it's not go to private/Wii/app/rsbe and check if there's an st (or maybe it's stg or something else, anything but pf)...

    Brawl Minus 4.0b is here!

Can you please explain in more detail what you're doing and what's happening? Your SD card should have the folders apps, private, and codes when you first open it. It should NOT have a folder called Brawl Minus in it.

So basically the attribute changes started out as a quick and dirty way of testing lower hitstun plus higher gravity (individual tweaking is, as Gold mentioned, time consuming and difficult to get right), and ended up being a pretty good change with no immediately obvious issues that we found so...

    Brawl Minus 4.0b is here!

The root of the SD card should contain the folders Apps, Codes, and Private. Make sure you're extracting the contents of the 4.0b folder onto your SD card, not the folder itself.

If you have three Roys on screen the issue is deeper than online play. I'd guess there's something wrong with your hook type, but it's hard to say; the hotfix we're releasing pretty soon will change how Roy and Pichu load, so if your hooktype is already AXNextFrame try seeing if the hotfix...

Bent 00 The gravity and fallspeed changes are a global, assembly level change to all characters attributes. Lucario is floaty in 4.0b because he's floaty in 3.Q, not because we gave him special attribute tweaks to keep him as a slow faller. Edit: Can you explain in more detail?

That's probably not fixable, unfortunately, just due to how stupidly complicated Ice Climbers (and Kirby) are in code.

Up-Smash does good damage, slides a fair distance out of a dash, is fast, and combos at low percents. It's got a lot of general purpose utility, but if it needs tuning to make it more targeted we'll tweak it. Lucario should still have aura, if he doesn't well fix it.

Brawl Minus 4.0b Bug Report Thread

Okay, looks like when assembling 4.0b for release we accidentally included the wrong version of BrawlEx. Since this wont affect online syncing we'll be pushing out a hotfix asap.

Weight and gravity are two different things. Weight is a multiplier that affects how much knockback you take, more weight is (for the most part) less knockback. Gravity is how fast the character accelerates downwards in the air. While not mentioned in the changelog (seems we missed that), a lot...

And as soon as I mention that more Pichu stuff comes up lol. But yeah, Pichu's model and animations being awful are a known thing, and while we would love to re-rig and re-animate him it would just be too time consuming given our limited animation ability.

Ike can store eruption in 4.0b, as that's part of the revert to 2.x.6, and the blast zones on the retro stages should have been tweaked. Not sure if they was accidentally left out of the changelog or if they just weren't included when putting everything together for some reason, but I can...

BRAWL MINUS 4.0b ON THE 4TH!

It's a glitch with BrawlEx 1.2. 4.0b uses BrawlEx 2.0 which fixes that glitch. Also, yes
