I think Kien was just saying that it's more important to master the core gameplay and strategy than it is to master advanced techniques. If you learn the ATs without mastering the basics first, you've got some neat tricks up your sleeve, but you won't be skilled enough with your character...

Aww, I was hoping ranged grabs were in the official 3.5 build, and I just never noticed them. Zelda could use some buffs like that since her ranged Dash Attack and ranged D-Tilt got Nerfed... Could I get a copy of that Zelda build with ranged grabs? I'd like to test 'em out myself. :D

Does your Wii not have Gamecube Controller ports? There's a Mayflash adapter that lets you connect A GC controller to a Wii Remote.

If you're running Brawl Minus 3.5, Version 1 of the New Footstool Triggers code is already in your build; it won't make you desync. Go into Options > Controls, and customize your tag's Wii Remote + Nunchuk controls so that DPad Down is Up Taunt. Now you can attempt footstools without wasting...

You're saying that Zelda's grabs have ranged hitboxes like her other moves do...?! You're talking about 3.5 Zelda, right? Is there no graphic indicator of the ranged grab box? I've played Zelda a ton, but this is the first I've heard of ranged grab boxes. o_o
