What do you mean by "saved inputs"?

All the replay does is save in inputs (attacks grabs etc) during a match and starts a game here those inputs are played out. In other words it's not a video so you can't veiw it with vlc. The only way to record them is to use Dolphin.a capture card to record it on a wii or a screen capture program for dolphin.
