Forgot to update this.

I went for my radioactive iodine treatment, and got my scan results back for it. The cancer is gone.

What's next step? Your in remittion for life right? Have to go in and get scanned annually or semiannually? Cuz cancer is supposed to never go away.

It was limited to the thyroid, and the radiation killed what tissue was left. I just need to do periodic scans to make sure everything stays good.
