You implied that L-cancelling makes the game more competitive and not doing it is holding back. I completely respect your decision, and those codes will do that for you. I, however, personally disagree. All L-cancelling seems to do is make a skill barrier that only some people can pass.

Then use that L-cancelling code that was linked. L-cancelling has nothing to do with 'holding back', it just makes already complex inputs more complex, distracting from the real focus of the game: outmaneuvering your opponent.

It feels good to them to flaunt their tech skill and destroy newcomers who aren't as good as them. I've got pretty good reflexes, but complex sequences of button inputs like waveshines and stuff always trouble me. I agree with everything said above, and don't like l-cancelling.
