ProjectM uses a different clone engine than we do.

Why have 450+ stages when you're only going to play on maybe 20 most of the time? We're still hard at work on our stage stuff, some little things will be in the beta.

This is also mentioned in the OP and allowed. If there is permission for an existing costume, with proof from the creator, then we will let it enter the same way any other costume has. I've done this for a few of the current entrants, but feel it would be more significant if they were costumes...

Sorry, but as stated in the OP, model swaps are not permitted. You can make a similar color of Brawl Fox, if you like!

Due to potential revived interest from the release of 4.0B, I am going to once again open up all characters for texturing! However, we encourage focusing on those that don't have many textures, so that way we'll be able to fill the whole roster with textures fresh from the community!

Don't be shy to submit costumes for a closed character. To encourage people to return to the contest, I will open up all characters for textures once more.

There weren't enough costumes submitted (a fair amount of characters still haven't even received one!), so we chose not to include it for now. Just another feature to look forward to in 4.0!

Samus in 4.0b is going to be a whole new woman. Don't think of her coming into 4.0 as if she's still in her 3.Q mode. As for the rest of your concerns, I can only encourage you to play the game and leave your feedback. We'll be taking all responses into consideration while working on the rest...

I tripped over a rock and it gave me a boo-boo. Delayed until December!

I don't think a character video is going to be the next thing coming out. I think it's going to be something much bigger than that.

This is likely very possible to fix, and we're looking into it as we speak.
