Basically, why? What was the inspiration? It is quite humorous, but it makes me wonder, it's a bit out of context compared to other changed animations and etc.

IIRC, someone named MASTERLINKX made all the humorous win/loss animation changes, and many of them wound up in Minus.

There used to be even more of them included. Some of these edited animations are funny and well-done, while others are just silly.

I've only played the beta so far, so I wouldn't know. But that does answer the question, both do. It's just quite morbid and out of place compared to the simple canonical faithfulness-based edits (ex. Ike's) and simple little jokes or redos. Choked by his sentient Reflector... Odd to say the least. Lol

I think we should go through them all at some point, and edit/replace/remove the dumb, unfitting, and/or unpolished win/lose animations.

If we're going to include any of them officially, we should be consistent about it.
