Unless you press A on the custom strap screen with perfect precision, it will crash on the BrawlMinus.net screen. Help?

So I tried to add some characters with BrawlEx, but they don't show up on the CSS. I noticed that Brawl- doesn't use the CSSRoster.dat. Do you use codes or something? I'm a complete noob when it comes to hacking :)
