    It's more "Oh he's doing the warlock punch in the air, that means he's planning on cancelling into something" would make it predictable. Yes, it would make him go flying off. Foes could be on platforms that Ganon isn't planning on landing on.

    That would A. Make Ganon more predictable and B. be a huge nerf due to the fact that if a Ganon in the air hits a shield there is no way for him to save himself

    I'm thinking of something like this move here but with fire instead of Ice, is that what you're proposing? Ike isn't really a Samurai-like character, he's more of a brute swordsman of medieval times. I mean both FE reps are, but Ike is more brute swordsman than Marth.

    The tether code would shake up the balance of the game quite a bit because Minus wasn't designed around it and would require many things to be recoded to adjust to it so tether recoveries aren't OP.

    That is actually a feature, not a buff. If we take it out of normal stages, we take it out of SSE at the same time, so...yeah. If there were a way to have our cake and eat it, we totally would, though.
