I doubt it. You get considerably lower after each air dodge. You can't do it for too long, unless you waste your jump to cancel into Vine Whip. It's not meant to be used as a stalling tactic at all. If anything, the Ivycopter to airdodge is a counter to the "can't air dodge out of tumble"...

Okay... probably not my place to say, but Ivy's recovery is being underestimated here. Ivycopter can be cancelled into either an air dodge or Vine Whip, the former of which lets you Ivycopter again in the same airtime. ALso... Have none of you considered jump-cancelled Vine Whip? Seriously... it...

Well, for starters, I'm really the only Ivysaur main at the moment. And I believe a skilled Ivysaur can beat the likes of the spacies, DK, etc. She has the tools and combos to win a tourney. Once I get netplay, I will prove how good Ivy really is in tourney.

I think her moves do enough damage... Her smashes already have a lot of kill power(combo potential for Usmash's sourspot), and her tilts are kinda fine... FTilt does a lot, DTilt's a poke, so it doesn't need to be buffed in power, and UTilt can combo into itself.

I get why you would assume that, but I assure you, I know my way around Link. Everything you have said is true, Link does have a decent game against most of the cast. But, that's just it. He merely has okay matchups for the majority of the cast, with a few bad matchups(spacies, Pit, Mario...
