I have been keeping up with Brawl Minus news for a little while recently, and I have found it to be a very entertaining mod to watch people play. Initially, I thought it was an NTSC-U only mod, until I stumbled across a download link for PAL Brawl Minus 2.1.1. While I found this odd, I used VirusTotal on it with no issues. Without hesitation, I downloaded it, extracted it to my formatted 2gb SD card, and inserted it into my Wii console. I then booted up a blank save file of Brawl (no matches played), and deleted all the default stages you get upon making a new Brawl save file. I then restarted the Wii console, and loaded Brawl again. With the SD card in the Wii console, I loaded the stage builder. Unfortunately, while Brawl did take a while loading the stage builder, nothing happened. I have tried using Letterbomb to load the mod, also to no avail (no boot.elf detected). I then tried using Gecko OS 1.9 in conjunction with Letterbomb, and while Gecko OS loaded, it said it couldn't find the file replacement code. I've posted a screenshot of the root of my SD card (when I was trying to use Smash Stack, the default Brawl Minus loading method), in case that helps. Some advice on why Brawl Minus isn't loading would be greatly appreciated. If you hadn't already gathered by my use of Letterbomb earlier, my Wii does not have Homebrew Channel, and I am not keen on installing it.
