Random Names in Stages?

While playing classic mode as Pichu, I noticed some really weird things. First off was this:

Blaziken is written backwards and is in the sky of New Pork City. And when I got to the free-for-all:

Yoshi's name written 9 times, some cut off. I'm not sure if this is just with Pichu, but it is really odd.
