Can's load Brawl Mods anymore. Is there a solution.

When I loaded Project M EX on my Wii, the game suddenly crashed. I had gameconfig.txt and boot.elf. I had no custom stages. I tried this numerous times with Brawl Minus 4.0BC. It still didn't work! I gave up and decided to play vBrawl. When I loaded Brawl yesterday, my disc didn't work. It said "An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii Operations Manual for help troubleshooting." I had no idea what to do. Either trade Brawl to a newer one or use WiiKey (idk what that is) If you have any solution, PLEASE REPLY.

What happens if you put in a different game? Does the Wii still read disks?

It could be that your Wii can't read dual-layer discs anymore.
Do you have your Wii sitting on carpet, or in a dusty place? Does anyone smoke around this Wii?
I've heard those things can lead to problems reading discs.

I suggest setting up a USB loader. I use CFG Loader myself.

My Wii is placed on a stand but is so close to the carpet. USB Loader GX might help. Thanks Bent 00
