Brawl- online on Wii?

This is more of a question than trouble, but is there any way at all to play Brawl- online on the wii, and not on Dolphin?
I'm just curious, because Id really prefer to play it on my Wii.

Just turn it on and select online.

It's literally that simple.

Get the online enabled .gct and go online. Easy peasy.

Just note that if you've used your save file to access WFC before, you'll need to delete your save data. There are a number of save game backup apps you can use if you don't want to permanently lose your save game, otherwise go to the brawl settings and delete the file and you're good to go.

Doesn't that affect Brawl- as well?
That was actually the problem I was having, I just thought it was unrelated.

There is a wifi enabled gct on the 3.Q download page. It will allow you to accessthe wiimfi servers, which act as a substitute for the now defunct Nintendo ones. In short, even though Nintendo shut down its servers it is still possible to play wii games over wifi with these servers. I believe it will also soon be possible to play DS games on these servers soon.
