Is there any way to deal with an Olimar who just keeps on throwing his Pikmin like his life depended on it?

Is there any way to disable those transformations? Like an Ocarina Code or something? I'd really like to know, because that just bothered me since I saw that the Pokemon are completely seperate in Project M. And i don't want to switch mods just for this.
