If planking is the issue, would it instead be possible to modify the ledge-regrab rate? If the ledge leaves you invulnerable for 45 frames, but you can't grab it for 60 once letting go, you can't plank. Now, I know that would bring the ledge-hogging question back, but those numbers are samples...

I kinda forgot since I don't have access year-round anymore, and have to give up spots when I go back to college, no matter how thoroughly I earn them. If I get the ability to defend from anywhere, that would make me more likely to push this [can't speak for others].

The design is to avoid ledge-hogging. Frankly, I'm convinced most recoveries in Minus are more than potent enough that if you get ledge-hogged, you still got handily outplayed, and they earned that KO. I'd like to see the timer on it go up myself. It doesn't need to be as long as Smash 4 or...

The Hoo Hah still exists, it just doesn't kill you at like 80% lol. I also didn't ask for dthrow tweaks, that would be the April Fool's changelog.

I hope you know I've also suggested more than once that ZSS get a secret taunt that spawns armor. I figured taunt switching between the two would be really cool, but I guess no one else thinks so... Will Charizard down+B become rock smash, and his side special become something similar to Smash...

Samus can go to ZSS via a secret taunt, although ZSS cannot turn into Samus [and the dev team either doesn't want to make this possible or doesn't know how, as I've asked about it several times in various forms].

You can still go from Samus to ZSS and not back, and from Zelda to Sheik and back... are those staying, or not? I have to wonder what bad MUs each has [I just don't know], and I'm curious how they cover each other, but I can imagine they have impressive coverage nonetheless.

Jab jab grab can be SDI'd out of... it's possible your play group has improved enough to where they've started doing that [consciously or not], which may be part of the problem.
