I agree that a lot of the minus chars are really vanilla and boring. Although calling in support characters does sound like over kill and is D3's thing.

Dallas has had only one that I know of and I went to it. It was called Low Tier City which should tell you everything you need to know about where I live. Most smash events are in Austin or Houston. And local players around where I live aren't very good ;_;

I used to live in Toronto but I'd go down to the Tri-state region all the time. Bent and I could probably get together since we both live in the south.

Glyph is easy coast. I used to be east coast but now I live in TX which is shitty when it comes to Smash :(

Bingo. The thing is if enough of us say, "this mechanic is bad" it will get changed or we are being stupid and it won't. I do think it would be better if the Minus Backroom was bigger though.

More like a PM tourney. My thought process didn't go very far. But if we want a balanced fast paced game where we don't bitch about everything let's just play some PM.
