I think it's strictly dependent on your connection to your opponent, compared to having to go through servers. BUT WHAT DO I KNOW ABOUT WIFI CONNECTIONS

I mean when i play Project M online it lags like hell but when I play Minus, using the same Wimmfi servers, it doesn't lag. Why does that happen?

I played Project M online once and not only did it lag a lot but I also had a DS not even 2 minutes in.
