The question is: Does Drag Luigi have any edited bones or PSA elements?
If a player with vanilla 4.0f (playing as Drag Luigi) plays against someone with 4.0f + this patch (playing as Mr. L) online, will they desync?
Uh no this is not the point of the thread. The point of the thread according to OP is to collect non-drag Luigi costumes. It gives no instructions on how to replace them or even make it otherwise "easier" to replace or remove the costumes. It also doesn't introduce any new or novel ideas since it's common knowledge that they'd be replacable. This entire post was just b8. B8 that a lot of people bit. I recommend just not replying to this or any of Bent's posts in the future because all of them are b8 or contain b8 that is a waste of everyone's time to reply to since Bent gets kicks from stirring shit up.

You and some of the BR are the ones "stirring shit up". I'm just trying to replace Luigi's Drag outfits, and make it easy for others to do the same.
There aren't any instructions on how to replace the skins yet because:
A.) I've only just recently decided to go with the four Mr. L costumes (from Project M) as the four replacements. I was waiting to see if there was support for any other Luigi skins, but it looks like 4x Mr. L will be fine.
B.) I don't know what the filenames will be in 4.0f yet. I'm guessing FitLuigi00-09.pcs/pac, but I don't know for sure.
Give me a break, I've only replaced a few costumes myself before; this is a learning process for me. I've never replaced any CSS / Battle Portraits. I have to figure out how to do that first -- I'll update the first post with instructions on how to do it once I learn how.
If there were some other "For Dummies" type of guide for replacing costumes somewhere on these forums, this kind of post wouldn't be as necessary. But there are no such guides here (AFAIK), and I anticipate there being more than a few players who will want to replace Luigi's Drag outfits and nothing else. Instead of just leaving them to figure out how to do that on their own, this thread is meant to serve as a guide that allows all of them to fix the problem in the same way. Having a "standard" fix will make it more likely that these players will have the same files on their SD cards, reducing the chances of desync in online matches.
If it's such a waste of time to reply to me, please just don't. I didn't ask any of the people hating on this thread to come in here and clutter it up. The same thing happened to my Custom Warlock Punch topic a while back -- even though it was made for my local play group, several devs and mods felt the need to come criticize it, turning the thread into a big barrel of drama temporarily.
There's no rule against work-in-progress threads here in the Custom Mods section, so kindly let me work on this in peace.
Moving on... Something else I don't know is whether or not the "Special" costumes in 4.0f will share the poses of "Normal" costumes. If not, great -- the CSS & Battle Portraits of Mr. L from Project M will fit in fine. If the poses need to match, though... I'll need to make some new CSS & Battle Portraits for Mr. L. Either way, he'll also need "Minus Art" variants, which of course do not exist yet. I want these Mr. L costumes to replace the Drag costumes as seamlessly as possible.

If the Warlock Punch you made was simply for your local play group it shouldn't have been posted on the forums. In the past, you have posted, intentionally inflammatory, passive agressive comments that it honestly frustrates me that the devs legitimized with a response. As for working in peace, I already told people to let you do so.

Yo, soooooo....can we stop with all the hate and clutter that isn't related to this topic? I'm actually very interested in having a tutorial about replacing these costumes. Luigi's drag outfit is literally the only costume I've ever not wanted in a Smash...and I have no experience editing Brawl Mods....
So can we please leave this thread alone unless it has to do with the topic. Make a separate thread for the drama if you insist on continuing it...

On your sd card Luigi's costumes will be under private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter/luigi. His alternate costumes will be FitLuigi06-09.pcs and FitLuigi06-09.pac. Replace these with Luigi textures of your choice. /thread

I pretty much provided the solution to this entire thread in my previous post. Finding Luigi costumes can be done in one's own time on Brawl Vault and I have already provided simple instructions on how to replace the costumes (which Bent 00 should put in his OP). There is really no reason for this thread to continue.

Because you use the custom mods board to rant about things you don't like about the game thinking that since it's custom mods it's okay for you to ramble and rant about things you don't like in Minus despite being told tons of times that we understand your criticisms but aren't going to change the game. You don't even have any custom things to show off, you just ask others to custom things for you.
This topic is especially blatant because it isn't about "custom costumes" in 4.0, it's specifically about getting rid of Princess Luigi (and I'm sure if more alts you don't like are revealed, those will be included too, and only those) , and the second post is nothing but attacking the idea of Princess Luigi. It's okay to not like something, and it's okay to share your criticisms, but attacking the developers and their ideas they decided to use or exclude from the game, and having zero respect when being asked to take it down a notch over the years, is not the way to go about it.

They weren't. MS and the other insulted BR members are just way too sensitive about this. My second post in here wasn't "attacking" them, it was my reasons for not wanting Drag Luigi in Minus.
You forgot about the CSS & Battle Portraits. The job isn't complete until we have 4 of each to match whichever replacement costumes we use.

Or will there be cases where, for example, two are of one model, and the other two are of a different model? I'm guessing all four costumes will share the same base model, since it's been confirmed that's what's happening with Luigi's drag outfits.
I think I can handle the Minus Art edits myself, rather than pay someone to do it. Thanks anyway.

If you honestly want a seemless replacement, the original artist is really the only way to go. Otherwise it is going to look off no matter what you do.

So the four Special Costumes of any given character will all have the same pose (that is different from their normal pose) in their CSS & Battle Portraits? Good, that means I can just use Mr. L's CSS & Battle Portraits from Project M in the 4.0f "Brawl Art" pack, and they will fit in seamlessly.
True, but the "Brawl Art" version of these is my priority. I don't personally use "Minus Art", so Minus Art versions of Mr. L are not something I would pay for. I only aim to include those for the convenience of people who do use Minus Art, and I should be able to come up with decent CSS & Battle Portrait replacements (eventually).
